Using Saga/Use Cases

Use Cases

Saga adapts to how you want to use it. Here are some common ways people use it.

Journaling

Have Saga read through your recent journal entries and reflect on what's been happening in your life. Talk through what you're thinking, process experiences, and get insights from someone who knows your full context.

Read my recent journal entries. I want to talk through what's been on my mind.

Look at my journal from the past week and help me process what's been going on.

Getting Different Perspectives

Ask Saga to take on different personas and give you their perspective on your situation. Get advice from a therapist, coach, mentor, or any expert viewpoint that would be helpful.

You are a world-class psychologist. Based on what you know about me, what patterns do you notice?

Act as a career coach. What should I be focusing on right now?

Be a brutally honest friend. What am I not seeing about this situation?

Keeping Notes

Build a collection of evergreen notes that you can reference in the future. Saga can create and organize notes on any topic—ideas, learnings, projects, recipes, anything you want to remember.

Create a notes folder in my vault for evergreen notes I can reference later.

I just learned something I want to remember. Create a note for it.

What notes do I have? Give me an overview of what I've captured.

Tracking Relationships

Keep a people folder with profiles for everyone in your life—dating prospects, friends, family, work relationships. Remember birthdays, preferences, conversation history, and what matters to each person.

Create a people folder where I can keep profiles of everyone I know.

I want to add a new person to my people folder. Let me tell you about them.

Who should I reach out to this week? Who haven't I talked to in a while?

Habit Tracking

Log food and count macros, track workouts, or keep tabs on any regular habit. Capture it in your journal entries or create a dedicated folder for structured tracking.

I want to start tracking my food. Help me set that up.

Log what I just ate and tell me where I'm at for the day.

Create a habits folder where I can track my daily habits and streaks.

How have I been doing with my habits this week?

Make It Your Own

These are starting points. Saga works with whatever folder structure and organization system makes sense for your life.

The common thread is that Saga remembers everything in your vault. The more you add, the more useful it becomes.
