The Short Version
Saga is a personal AI assistant that runs on your Mac. You pay a monthly subscription, you get access to the app. Your data stays on your device. We don't sell your information. Cancel anytime.
Using Saga
By using Saga, you agree to:
- Use the app for personal, non-commercial purposes
- Not attempt to reverse engineer, copy, or redistribute the app
- Not use the app for any illegal activities
- Keep your account credentials secure
Subscriptions & Billing
- Subscriptions are billed monthly
- You can cancel anytime from your account settings
- Cancellation takes effect at the end of your billing period
- We don't offer refunds for partial months
- Prices may change with 30 days notice
Your Content
Everything you create in Saga belongs to you. Your conversations, journal entries, and personal data are stored locally on your device. We don't claim any rights to your content.
You're responsible for backing up your own data. We recommend regular backups since your data is stored locally.
AI Responses
Saga uses AI to generate responses. While we strive for accuracy and helpfulness:
- AI responses are not professional advice (medical, legal, financial, etc.)
- You should verify important information independently
- AI can make mistakes or provide inaccurate information
- Use your own judgment when acting on AI suggestions
Availability
We aim for high availability but can't guarantee 100% uptime. The app requires an internet connection to process AI responses. We may occasionally need to perform maintenance or updates.
Termination
You can stop using Saga at any time by canceling your subscription and deleting the app. We may terminate accounts that violate these terms or engage in abusive behavior.
Changes to Terms
We may update these terms occasionally. We'll notify you of significant changes via email or in-app notification. Continued use after changes constitutes acceptance.
